Brennon Eldred is a 4-time PBR World Finalist that is making his comeback after elbow surgery and a punctured lung put him out for that past eight months.
The physical demands of bull riding are rigorous and getting your body back into riding shape is one thing and so is staying in the right headspace.
“And then trying to get mentally prepared to come back at that level and get on that caliber of bulls, it was definitely challenging but it’s something I’ve done for a long time and you’ve just got to keep pushing forward,” Eldred said.
Eldred’s first event back was at the Topeka Xtreme Bulls where he was 87.5 points in the final round. At the Unleash The Beast in Duluth, Georgia, Eldred got on his first bull back in the PBR where he went 90.75 on Gangster Bones.
“I’m glad to be back full force, fans in the house bringing the energy,” Eldred said.
