Allen Boore after his 88-point ride at Calgary Stampede

Allen Boore is in position to win Day 2 of the saddle bronc riding in Pool B with 88 points atop Burban on Wednesday afternoon.

“I figured I had a chance to win the round and was able to get it done,” he said.

Boore’s ride was the highest in the pool so far, but he has to wait for re-rides from Ben Andersen, Wyatt Casper and Chet Johnson before the results become official. The trio of cowboys with re-rides will get on two head on Thursday afternoon with the first counting toward the previous day’s results.

“My job is done,” Boore said. “So, whatever they can do is to them......I’m going to be cheering for them, it’s not my concern now.”
