Arizona’s Debra Winard Looks Towards NCHA World Finals Aboard Nitreyious

The NCHA World Finals is coming up quick and Debra Winard leads her class going into it.

Arizona’s Debra Winard is looking forward to the National Cutting Horse Association World Finals as she currently leads the Unlimited Amateur Division.

Winard has two equine partners, Nitreyious and A Lil Brown Sugar but it is Nitreyious who is getting the call in Fort Worth.

“He is just a special individual. He is extremely athletic and he has great personality and he loves his job. I’m so lucky to have him. We bought him in December last year, after the World Finals last year, and this year has been a dream year,” Winard said.

Winard grew up cutting and took a break to haul her daughter in the Youth Division until they aged out. She started cutting again in 2018 when she reached out to Mike Wood to find her a horse.

Six years later and Winard and Wood will both show Nitreyious this November at the NCHA World Finals.
