Rocker Steiner has followed the path of success in rodeo that his father and grandfather had before him but one title that never came their way was RodeoHouston. That all changed when Steiner matched up with Calgary Stampede’s Agent Lynx to be 91 points.
“About the third jump I sent it way too hard and about tried to get myself bucked off but $65,000 up for grabs at Houston, Texas in front of a beautiful crowd, there’s no way I could get thrown off here. I love y’all Houston. I can’t wait to be back next year,” Steiner said.
It has been a slow start for the three-time National Finals bareback rider this season but he says this win puts him right back where he wants to be. This has sent him to No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings.
