Rocker Steiner’s American Rodeo was a one day affair that started just as strong as it finished.
After an 86.25 on Forgetfully Nelly of Calgary Stampede’s string, Steiner was second on the leaderboard and moving on to the Final Four. There, it would be a matchup with Frontier Rodeo’s Breaking News and Steiner as the final cowboy to nod that sealed the deal.
“Look, I don’t show up for second place. I’m here for one reason and that’s to win. And if that’s not everybody’s mentality then I just suggest not come,” he said.
Steiner was the first to cross the 90-point mark with a 91.75 to be the first Champion crowned in Globe Life Field on Saturday.
“Look, this is one of the biggest events that I’ve evet been to and I thank God that I won today and I’m very blessed and I’m just excited to be here. Look, beat these guys it takes everything you’ve got and I sent it as hard as I could today and I know everybody else did today,” he said.
Steiner is on a roll cashing in big. He is the No. 1 bareback rider in the World and is only picking up steam as the season rolls on.
