Kassie Mowry’s barrel racing career has her in the same ranks of legends, but it is a new feeling for her as her and Jarvis continue to conquer the Thomas and Mack for the second year in a row.
“This horse is just incredible. He is just the ultimate teammate for me. I think I don’t always get to ride the same horse consistently, I normally ride several in between, and so it’s fun to get tapped out and in timing with one horse,” Mowry said.
Both of Mowry’s Go-Round have come in at 13.43 seconds but the Round 5 run was the one she described as smoth as silk.
It has become a two horse race in Las Vegas for a Gold Buckle as Mowry and Hailey Kinsel go tit-for-tat at the iconic Thomas & Mack. Mowry finished second to Kinsel in Rounds 2 and 3 before claiming Rounds 4 and 5 for herself.
