Barrel Racer Taylor Manning Triumphs in Edmonton and Claims Her Second Canadian Finals Rodeo Title

A second CFR title in two years comes Taylor Mannings way after success on her home turf.

An impressive trip to Edmonton resulted in Yellowhead City, Alberta’s own Taylor Manning taking home her second CPRA Barrel Racing Title as well as the CFR Aggregate. It was an emotional win for 20-year-old barrel racing phenom.

“It means the world. I live, breathe, ride horses all the time so it’s just an amazing feeling,” Manning said.

Manning’s first CFR Title came in 2022 on a horse she called Bling while Archie was her backup. Two years later and Archie got the call to step up and he did so in a big way. Manning and Archie clocked four sub 14.00-second runs including their Round 5 run that cinched it all coming in at 13.77 seconds.

Texas cowgirl Jackie Ganter also had an emotional trip to Canada and her CFR ended with her in second for both the season and Aggregate titles and fellow Texas barrel racer, Tiany Schuster, would round out the Top 3 for the season and Aggregate.
