Barrel Racer Toria Madsen Takes Advantage of Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Wildcard Round to Advance

Toria Madsen moves on to Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Semi-Finals.

Toria Madsen put up one of the fastest times of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo behind Emily Beisel and Kassie Mowry when she shut the clock off at 16.15 seconds in the Wildcard Round.

“I was hoping, I was just hoping that second barrel was going to stand up... My motto is if you’re not rubbing the paint off you’re not trying,” Madsen said.

After hitting a barrel in Round 1 of her bracket to put her in the Wildcard Round, Madsen’s game plan now is to keep them all up as her equine partner loves to get faster with every run.

The second barrel racer advancing to the Semi-Finals from the Wildcard Round with Madsen is Megan McLeod-Sprague.
