Ty Harris capitalized on the busiest time of the season to set a record.

With five National Finals Rodeo qualifications under his belt, Ty Harris is hungry for a sixth and his success over Cowboy Christmas made sure he was well on his way.

Harris claimed wins all over the country including at Mandan Rodeo Days, 89th Annual Independence Day Rodeo, Eugene Pro Rodeo and Basin City Freedom Rodeo. He added to his when he took home second from the Greeley Stampede and St. Paul Rodeo.

His fastest run of the Fourth clock in at 7.4 seconds in Oakley City while his combined pay days set a record.

Harris’ Cowboy Christmas was worth just shy of $50,000 and he currently trails No. 1 in the World, Shad Mayfield, by just $6,000.
