Blane Cox was the first tie-down roper to be faster than 11 seconds during the performances in Cheyenne as he stopped the clock at 10.7 seconds in Tuesday’s performance.
“It’s a blast (to rope in Cheyenne), we grow up dreaming of getting to rope here,” he said. “So now just living it is awesome.”
Quade Hiatt, Cory Solomon, 11.8 and Haven Meged also advanced to the Semifinals from Tuesday’s performance. All three of those cowboys are in the Top 20.
