Blue Angels over North Texas

Since the aerobatic team’s inception in 1946, the Navy’s Blue Angels have performed for nearly 500 million fans — and yesterday it added a few more to the list.

Typically performing some 60 times throughout the year across the United States, yesterday, the Blue Angels made a special appearance in DFW. The Team’s flight over North Texas was made in tribute to first responders and frontline workers in the COVID-19 pandemic — and we were able to capture the moving gesture from a viewing spot in Fort Worth.

It is the first of two Semi Final performances of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
