Bob Baffert has been banned from New York Racing after a positive drug test came back from his Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit.
The horse was tested twice for Bethamethasone and came back positive both times. Medina Spirit ran in both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness but Baffert could not run at the Belmont. The New York Racing Association had already banned Baffert from any New York races and now Baffert is suing.
