Brandon Harrison Goes from Uvalde Qualifier to San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Champion

Steer wrestler and under dog Brandon Harrison wins San Antonio.

For Texas steer wrestler Brandon Harrison, his trip for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo began in November 2024. After qualifying for the big show at the Qualifier in Uvalde, Texas, he showed up for Bracket 2 where he placed in two rounds to be the No. 1 money earner in the bracket and advance.

“I did my job and that’s all I can do. I just put the rest in God’s hands. Never be scared, let it all hang out,” Harris said.

Harris is now the No. 3 steer wrestler in the PRCA World Standings after the succesfull trip and his 2025 season has already brought him a career high. The 4.3-second run would seal the championship to beat the likes of Will Lummus and Tyler Waguespack and it brought Harrison’s earnings to over $25,000.
