Brazilian Bull Rider Paulo Crimber on Upcoming PBR World Finals and Top Contenders for the Title

Paulo Crimber is an 10X PBR World Finals qualifier and PRCA NFR champion who now works as a translator for the top Brazilian bull riders. And with the top three guys in the Standings all being Brazilians —Jose Vitor Leme, Joao Ricardo Vieira, and Kaique Pacheco — Crimber knows the top contenders for the 2020 world title better than anyone.

He gives us the inside scoop on the athletes, talks about their riding styles and chances for the win, and why the Brazilians have been such a force in the PBR.

“It’s really hard for us coming up, from Brazil,” Crimber says. “When we get over here, we see all this money, this opportunity to win a lot of money and to be famous and enjoy these great associations with great bulls, great stock contractors — it’s all the best you can get. And so we just work hard every day, day in and day out, to get better and better, and make the most of it as we can.”

On the upcoming World Finals, Crimber says, “I think it’s going to be amazing to see those guys battle back to back with a chance to win $1 million. Jose, without a doubt has been the best bull rider for the year He’s been phenomenal. He broke a lot of records, he got 7 regular season wins under his belt already and he’s going to be ready to go to the World Finals and just take them out, but JRV is the veteran. He’s doing really good and he won the last stop in Nampa, Idaho. I think it’s going to be a really fun watch and it’s going to be really exciting to see who is crowned the 2020 PBR World Champion.”
