Breakaway Roper Jill Tanner Ropes Quick to Win Round 2 at Dickies Arena

Texas’ owm Jill Tanner claims Bracket 7 Round 2 in Fort Worth.

Jill Tanner made up for a Round 1 no time with a Round 2 win. The Texas breakaway roper stopped the clock at 2.1 seconds to get the job done in a set of girls that she knows well.

“It feels really good to have such a great group of girls here. Alot of the girls in this set happen to be really good friends of mine and so it’s really, really fun,” Tanner said.

It is safe to say Tanner made up for it with $2,300 hitting her pockets. She was just one hole out of making the Wildcard and with that, Tanner’s first leg of the Texas Swing is over and she is on to San Antonio.
