Josie Conner has been gunning for the American Rodeo title for four years and her dreams have finally come true after an impressive two rounds at Globe Life Field.
“I’ve been trying a long time at this title and been putting in the work, got a great horse. All the glory to God to be here at this amazing rodeo, I mean, what a rodeo. The fans are great, the money, you can’t dream this up. This is great,” Conner said.
Conner roped the first sub-2-second run earlier in the day during the Ten Man Round and it was a win that came by one tenth of a second. In the Four Man Round, Conner bested her own 1.99 with a 1.89 to be the fastest time of the rodeo and get her the win.
