For Kelsie Domer, the Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup Round 1 win came by one tenth of a second after she stopped the clock at a smoking 1.9 seconds. It was a win that came along with a $10,000 payday.
“This is awesome money, you know, for anybody but especially for our event. We don’t get to see this a whole lot so it’s super exciting to be here,” she said.
Domer’s mental game is something she works hard on, she studies to be the best and it has paid off. The World Champion Breakaway Roper is adding to her season earnings on these final days of the season before heading to the National Finals Breakaway Roping in December.
