Top-ranked barrel racer Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi and her mount Titan are both fine following a scary wreck in which Brittany was almost hung up on Saturday at the Governor’s Cup.
When rounding the second barrel, Titan slipped and fell causing Brittany to fly off the back of the horse. She was already nursing some sore ribs entering the event.
“Titan and I made it home from South Dakota last night and are doing ok. We got some much needed rest,” she said. “Thank you, everyone, for the calls, texts and messages. Watching the video, it looked worse than it was and we are very thankful for that.”
