Bull Rider Ahston Shali Goes 88 Points to Win Opening Round of Canadian Finals Rodeo

Ashton Shali entered the CFR with just over $17,000 earned at Canadian rodeos. After the performance, he is up to over $28,000 thanks to an 88-point ride.

Shali was one of two Bull Riders to go the full 8 seconds, with William Barrows being marked 52.5 points.

“That’s a big strong bull... just happy to have my name beside him today and do my job and have it all work out.”

It is the biggest win of the season for Shali, who has moved up to fifth in the CFR standings.
