Bull Rider Mason Taylor Gets Ready for the American Rodeo

Mason Taylor zeroes in on what could be a million dollar weekend.

Three years ago, Mason Taylor nodded his head in the Ten-Man Round of the American Rodeo to have his journey for a million dollars to come an end. He is back in 2025 for another go.

“It was just a blast being able to go through the qualifier system and end up making the American. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve done yet,” Taylor said.

While the format at since changed, Taylor says he is ready for it as they now have to get through one more round after making it through the regional qualifiers. Taylor punched his ticket at the Central Regional Qualifier.

“It was a lot of fun. I got to see a bunch of my rodeo buddies that I don’t get to see very often. [I] drew two really, really good bulls over there and was fortunate enough to ride both of them,” he said.

With the American Rodeo just one week away, Taylor says he is the healthiest he has been in a long time and he has big plans for if that million dollars comes his way.
