Bull Rider Wade Berg Gets Huge Win at Cowboy Channel Rookie Roundup

North Dakota bull rider Wade Berg had a weekend full of success at Cowtown Coliseum inside the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

Berg was the only bull rider to go eight seconds in the Final Shootout Round of the Cowboy Channel Rookie Roundup with an 80-point ride on Pickett Pro Rode’s Punchline. It came down to the final second of the ride but Berg got it done.

“I knew that bull was going to be good. I just know if I did my job he was going to help me out, he came out a little weird on me but I think that’s just one thing, you’ve got to keep rolling with the punches and take them as is because it’s not going to be perfect every time,” Berg said.

This weekend, Berg showcased his talents and moved up to the No. 3 position in the Resistol Rookie Standings and he is No. 35 in the PRCA World Standings as he gets ready for the summer run.
