The Short Go for the team roping at Ellensburg Rodeo was set up to be a battel royal as it was a star-studded lineup and there was a three way tie at the top of the Average. Brenten Hall and Kaden Profili roped as consistent as they come and played the Average game just right to walk away the Champions.
“I just told myself I was going to try to get a good start, turn the steer and whatever we were is what we was going to win today and not try to be greedy,” Hall said.
This Hall and Profili’s first year as a team to hit the road. Hall has three National Finals Rodeo qualifications to his name and if you ask Profili, he is always easy to heel behind and a great partner. If you ask Hall, Profili changed the game for him.
“He’s been the biggest blessing to my roping career. I didn’t know how much more I even wanted to go and picking him up this year, we’ve just had a blast roping together and I, with 100% honesty, know if I turn the steer, he is going to catch two feet,” Hall said about Profili.
The duo is looking at their first trip to Las Vegas as a team and the Ellensburg title has added another $9,000 to their 2024 season earnings.
