By the numbers: Three big wins in three months have Roscoe Jarboe in position for another NFR

Bull rider Roscoe Jarboe became the first cowboy ever to win a rodeo in Alaska when he claimed the buckle at the Northernmost Xtreme Bulls in Palmer.

With the win, Jarboe has now won an Xtreme Bulls event in March, April and May and each of those wins earned him more than $5,000.

For the season, Jarboe has 21 qualified rides and seven Go-Round wins, which means a third of the time he covers a bull, he wins the round.

Jarboe, who is average score is currently a career-high 84.36 points, is No. 6 in the world. If he stays in that spot, it would match the best finish of his career.
