Caldwell Night Rodeo: Friday Night Daysheet, Performance 4

We are getting closer to naming our Champions at the Caldwell Night Rodeo as we just have two performances left. Performance 4

BAREBACK RIDING

Two scores of 86 points hold the lead. The No. 1 rookie is Weston Timberman and he will be nodding on Calgary Stampede’s Rum Flavor. The veteran bucking horse is the horse that Kade Sonnier rode for 87.5 points in Puyallup in 2023.

STEER WRESTLING

Paden McIntyre holds the lead in Gooding and that momentum is coming with him into Round 2 in Caldwell. A 4.5-second run will get him into the Round 2 money with only performance to follow.

TEAM ROPING

Brenten Hall and Kaden Profili were a 6.4 in Round 1 to place the highest out of any team out tonight meaning most teams are going for Go-Round money. A 5.5 will get them into the Top 6 in Round 2.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Tanner Butner will nod on Y U R Friskey, the same horse that Chase Brooks currently holds the lead with at 87 points.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

The tie-down roping will be quick on Night No. 4 and they are chasing an 8.0 to take over the lead in the Go-Round and a five-way tie at 8.2 rounds out the Top 6.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Maddy Deerman blew away her competition in 2023 but did not have enough rodeo’s to qualify for the National Finals Breakaway Roping. That has changed in 2024 and she is the No. 7 ranked breakaway roper in the World looking to take over the lead in Caldwell and to do so, she will need to beat 2.3 seconds.

BARREL RACING

Jordon Brigg’s 16.95 still leads Round 2 and she also leads the Average. Sharin Hall was a 17.35 in Round 1 to sneak into the money. Tonight, she needs to be a 17.29 to get into the Top 6 in the Average.

BULL RIDING

Creek Young is trying to get back to the top of the standings but his draw in Caldwell is the unridden bull of Powder River Rodeo’s known as Sweet Train. Sweet Trains record of straight buck offs dates back to 2022.
