Caleb McMillan has earned the prestigious PRCA Linderman Award for 2024, capping off a stellar season that saw him win at least $2,000 in four different disciplines.

The Linderman Award recognizes cowboys who earn at least $1,000 in three different events, one of which must be roughstock and one timed.

This season, the 26-year-old Washington native made $31,267 in bull riding, $9,080 in tie-down roping, $7,322 in steer wrestling and $2,168 in steer roping.

Some of McMillan’s noteworthy finishes included third at the High Desert Stampede (Oregon) in the bull riding and a win at the Bonner County Rodeo (Idaho) both bull riding and tie-down roping.

“I’ve come close a few times but never got it done. This is my first time and it’s quite an honor,” he told ProRodeo.com. “This is a goal I’ve had for a very, very long time and it’s kind of a weight lifted off my shoulders. I finally got one.”

Prior to this year, Josh Frost had won the previous four Linderman Awards from 2019-2023 (the award was not given in 2020).

McMillan will receive the award during Round 7 of the 2024 NFR.
