BAREBACK RIDING

RC Landingham is coming off a big win in Reno and he will get things rolling in Canada with Wayne Vold Rodeo’s Dancing Queen. Rocker Steiner rode the horse for 89.5 points at the Calgary Stampede in 2022.

The steer wrestling is loaded in Pool B but Jesse Brown is back with his eyes on No. 1. The Oregon bull dogger finished second in Calgary in 2023 to add over $32,000 to his name.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Canada’s own Beau Cooper is the defending champion at the Calgary Stampede. He went into the Semifinals as the No. 3 cowboy from Pool A, finished third there and went on to win the Finals by almost a second and a half with a time of 7.0 seconds.
