Scott Guenther has been consistent, placing in Rounds 4 and 5 but Round 6 was his time to shine. A time of 3.8 earned him his first Go-Round win of the 2024 National Finals Rodeo.
“Yeah, I was pretty happy. I kind of beat Tanner out of the conner again, I knew that steer was really good if I could get my hands on him and yeah, it wasn’t one of the prettiest runs but we’ll take it,” Guenthner said.
Guenthner made the NFR with minimal rodeos during the regular season but the seasoned veteran won at all the right places with runs like this.
He sits No. 8 in the World and it was Dakota Eldridge and Rowdy Parrott who finished in the Top 3 of Round 6.
