Cash Robb Talks Bouncing Back After Injury, 2024 Season and Cheese in Reno

Steer wrestler Cash Robb’s 2024 season has been full of success so far and he caught up with Justin McKee to tell us more.

Cash Robb is your 2023 Resistol Rookie of the Year and he managed to claim that title after a knee injury sidelined him late in the season.

“It sucked. I mean, it is what it is though and was all in God’s plan, you know. We’re all here for a reason, this stuff happens for a reason, you know, it just made me want it more this year,” Robb said.

Robb’s knee is healed and he has taken the 2024 season by storm. He sits inside the Top 20 going into the Summer Run thanks to a successful winter but it also helps to have good traveling partners and stealthy horsepower.

“I’m riding Cheese this year. I’ve been getting along really good with him about the last year and a half. He’s been one of the main reasons and part of my success. I wouldn’t be doing as good as I am without him,” he said.

As for his traveling partners, Robb has got three and the one is the household name of Tyler Waguespack. Although Waguespack is the one currently sidelined with an injury, his surgery went well and everyone awaits his return to the arena.

Robb’s trip to Reno so far has a time of 4.7 sitting tenth in Round 1.
