Catching Up with Caleb McMillan

We caught up with Caleb McMillan — a cowboy known for competing in every event, who’s been hitchhiking from rodeo to rodeo — following his performance in the steer roping at the Fallon County Fair & Rodeo in Baker, Montana.

Even though his run didn’t go the way he’d wanted on Friday afternoon, McMillan was still hopeful to earn a check in Baker, being slated to compete in the tie-down roping the following day and also hoping to be a replacement in the bull riding.

McMillan didn’t place in the tie-down, but he did get a shot at the bulls, and not only was he in the money, he won the event, going 85 points on C5 Rodeo’s Director Assistant.
