Chase Dougherty In Driver’s Seat at Reno Rodeo

Chase Dougherty posted the top ride of the opening weekend in Reno at 88 points

Chase Dougherty is up to No. 5 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings and is proving why he belongs there in Reno.

Through the first weekend, Dougherty has the highest marked bull ride at 88 points, which came on All in Pro Rodeo’s Midnight Train.

“I love it, being here at an old school rodeo riding an old school bull... being 88 points. Can’t beat it,” Dougherty said of competing in Reno.

Dougherty is looking to make it back to the NFR for the first time since 2018, a year in which he finished No. 2 in the World. If his score in Reno holds, it will not only give him control of his own destiny in the Finals, it will also pay him around $10,000 for a Round 1 win.
