Cheyenne Frontier Days

Cheyenne Frontier Days is an epic 10-day event packed full of things to see and do outside of the arena. From carnivals to shopping expos to live music, Cheyenne Frontier Days has it all. It’s the worlds largest rodeo and more than 250,000 people travel to Cheyenne, Wyoming to partake in the festivities. As a major CFD fan and yearly visitor, here’s my insider’s guide to help you navigate “The Daddy of ‘Em All.”

5 Things to Know Before You Go:

Park-N-Ride:

Visitors can use the Park-n-Ride located at I-25 and Happy Jack Road. Visitors are provided with bus transportation between the CFD Park-n-Ride lot and Frontier Park. The Park-n-Ride fee per car is $10 and allows riders Frontier Park access.

Bag Policy:

Any bag brought onto Frontier Park is subject to inspection at any time. Only small handbags, baby bags, or bags that fit underneath the guest’s ticketed seat will be allowed in B Stand, C Stand, M Stand and Eastside Stand. One small clutch purse per person (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5") is permitted in the Party Zone.

These bags are within the size requirement and are available for purchase through Boot Barn

Bags are available from Boot Barn and fit the size requirement.

Frontier Nights Fast Pass:

If you’re planning to go to one of the concerts from the amazing lineup, make sure to buy a Party Zone ticket and upgrade to the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Party Zone Fast Pass! The package includes a fast Pass for early admission to the Party Zone area through designated portals, a free Party Zone Ticket, a voucher for best available same-day rodeo ticket, and a coupon redeemable for a CFD souvenir program. I’m definitely going to join in on the Party Zone fun for Miranda Lambert and Post Malone!

Opening Day Celebration:

Come early, stay late on opening Day July 19th. There will be unlimited carnival rides, a vendor scavenger hunt from 10:30 a.m.–4 p.m., $2 fair food, live music, dancing, and a Wild West Show for $15 to kick off the 123rd Annual Daddy of ‘em All!
