Cheyenne Frontier Days Announces Return

The 125th Cheyenne Frontier Days are officially a go and will take place between July 23 and August 1. The CEO of the Cheyenne Frontier Days, Tom Hirsig described it as a great day for rodeo.

“It’s a great day in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for rodeo, its a great day for concerts... There is a sense of normalcy coming back.”

The rodeo returns after being canceled last year due to the pandemic and Hirsig says it left a hole in the community.

“I think like a lot of people we had an empty feeling in our stomach without having these great things we call rodeo.”

The rodeo will have no restrictions regarding capacity and tomorrow night the night show lineup will be announced.

The rodeo also announced who will be headlining their concert series.

The rodeo opens with a bang with Ned Ledoux and the legendary Garth Brooks performing on July 23. Cody Johnson and Aaron Watson perform on July 25. The 28th will feature Maren Morris and superstar Kane Brown headlines on July 30. The great shows don’t stop there as on the final weekend Blake Shelton performs on July 31.
