Ashley Castleberry collected just under $13,000 within the past week as she secured checks in Idaho and Oregon to take home the Circle Y WPRA Athlete of the Week Title.
Castleberry kicked it off with a win at the Canby Rodeo where she turned in a run of 16.19 seconds to claim the No. 1 spot in Performance 3. As her time held throughout the remaining performances, Castleberry made her way to the pay window as she picked up a check for $3,895.
After claiming the third place in both Round 2 and the Finals, Castleberry secured the No. 4 spot in the Average at the Caldwell Night Rodeo. Castleberry collected an aggregate time of 51.90 seconds on three head to pull a check for $4,942.
Castleberry then made a quick trip to Gooding, Idaho, where she cinched the No. 2 spot, just behind NFR cowgirl Dona Kay Rule, with a 16.79-second run to add an addition $3,895 to her earnings.
With just six weeks left in the season, Castleberry is now sitting at No. 19 in the WPRA World Standings, up from No. 24 a week ago, with $66,275 in earnings and numerous opportunities to capitalize on the remaining rodeos.
