Clayton Sellars is a three-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and this year, he broke out into the PBR and currently sits No. 2 in the PBR Rookie Standings.
It was a slow transition into the PBR however, it seems Sellars has found his stride.
He is heading to the PBR World Finals this May at Dickies Arena, a place that he has competed before and had plenty of success. He says he feels at home in Dickies Arena and what better event to be heading back for than the PBR World Finals.
Sellars is only 72.25 points behind Bob Mitchell, who currently leads the PBR Rookie Race.
“In reality, this is my fourth year at the professional level so I didn’t even realize I was a rookie… you only get one shot to win the rookie so to capitalize on that is really special, of course. I’m keeping my eyes on the bigger prize right now but I really hope to win that in the process,” he said.
Sellars currently sits No. 25 in the PBR World Standings and we will see him at the PBR World Finals coming up in May.
