Cody Lambert and Jay Daugherty Talk Bull Power Heading to Fort Worth for PBR World Finals & More

The title for the 2021 Bull of the Year was a nail biter and it is looking like 2022 will be no different. Ridin’ Solo and Whoopa are the front runners but Chiseled and Pookie Hollar along with others, are keeping the competition going.

PBR Livestock Director Cody Lambert says that it will absolutely come down to the last day. The top five bulls in the running include Ridin’ Solo, Woopa, Moonight Party, Pookie Hollar and High Brow Cat.

“The way it’s looking right now, it looks like Woopa and Ridin’ Solo are in the lead but theres a few other players involved. Those are two of the greatest bulls of all time,” Lambert said.

The bulls get better every year. Bulls are judged on their kick, direction, change and intensity to name a few and Lambert says that the top bulls in the PBR are a testament to the ABBI and the breeding that is done today.

The ABBI will be hosting events during the PBR World Finals that you won’t want to miss. The American Heritage and the ABBI Futurity Event will bring you an inside look to the next generation of bucking bulls.

The PBR World Finals begin on May 13 in Forth Worth, Texas.
