Cody Lambert on PBR Team Series: ‘It Feels Like the Biggest Things We’ve Done Since We Started the PBR’

The PBR is less than three months away from its inaugural draft for its Team Series, which begins competition at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Cody Lambert, one of the co-founders of the PBR, will serve as the coach of the Fort Worth-based Ariat Texas Rattlers and he believes the team format will be a game-changer for bull riding.

“You’re going to have bull riding like its always been.....In a team concept where cities can really get behind their team,” Lambert said. “To me, it feels like the biggest thing we’ve done since we started the PBR.”

The Team Series has eight teams based in eight different cities. Each team will have a “home game” and there were also be two neutral sites, making for a 10-week schedule. The PBR Team Series Championship will be held in Las Vegas from Nov. 4-6.
