Cole Reiner did not win a check in the First Round of Bracket 2 in Fort Worth, but bounced back in a big way on Monday night with 86.5 points and a Round 2 win.
“I love riding in Fort Worth and I wasn’t quite ready to be done yet,” he said.
“That horse had a lot of ducks and dives, was a little bit more than I was expecting,” he added of his dance partner, Rafter G’s Secret Agent Man.
The win paid him $2,000 to put him second behind fellow 2023 NFR qualifier Jayco Roper ($3,250) in Bracket 2’s bareback riding. It is Reiner’s third straight Semifinal appearance in Fort Worth, he made the Finals in 2022, but failed do so in 2023.
