Cole Reiner Wins Clovis Bareback Riding on Final Day

Cole Reiner broke a tie at the top between Bronc Marriott and Jayco Roper by riding C5 Rodeo’s Make Up Face for 88 points on Sunday to win the Clovis Rodeo.

“Tilden (Hooper) won on a big grey last year, I won on a big grey this year,” Reiner said. “That horse might not look like the strongest, but when you tie your hand to him, he definitely is.”

The win earned Reiner over $8,600 and moved him up to No. 3 in the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings. Reiner said he made it a point beginning in San Angelo to really take advantage of when he has top tier horses.

“It’s awesome when you get on one that bucks like that and you’re able to make a good ride and win a big check,” he said. “We kept it rolling in Clovis.”
