Dakota Eldridge is a Nevada native on a hot streak of National Finals Rodeo qualifications as he comes up on his fifth consecutive trip since 2019 and his 10th trip total.

He has NFR Average titles and over $1.6 million in career earnings, so we can expect big things from the No. 7 steer wrestler in the World.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

Reno Rodeo, $13,603

One of Eldridge’s biggest paydays came when he kicked off the summer run. Winning the Second Go-Round and placing in the Average gave him a boost of momentum for the summer run.

Puyallup Cinch Playoffs (Washington), $12,263

His second to last rodeo of the season proved to be a close second as he found success in Puyallup. Thanks to a Go-Round check and a sub-4.0 second run in the Finals, Eldridge racked up a payday worth more than $12,000 to end his season.

FASTEST RUNS

San Angelo Rodeo (Texas), 3.4 Seconds

Eldridge’s First Round run in San Angelo would tie to be his fastest run of the season. The 3.4-second run was worth the Go-Round win and more than $6,000 to keep his winter rolling.

Canby Rodeo (Oregon), 3.4 Seconds

A Round 2 win came his way after he made his second 3.4-second run of the season. After breaking the barrier in Round 1, Eldridge bounced back in Round 2 in a big way.

Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Utah), 3.6 Seconds

Over Cowboy Christmas, Eldridge made his way to the pay window after another 3.6-second run, this time in Utah. That was fast enough to be fourth in the Round and add over $3,400 to his earnings.

NOTABLE WINS

Rooftop Rodeo (Colorado), 9.1 Seconds on Two Head

A $2,800 payday came Eldridge’s way in Colorado. After two consistent runs of 4.5 and 4.6, he found himself a 9.1 and first in the Average to take the title.

Chief Joseph Days (Oregon), 8.0 Seconds on Two head

Eldridge swept at Chief Joseph Days after stopping the clock at 3.9 in Round 1 and 4.1 seconds in Round 2. Two Round wins and the Average totaled over $3,500 to keep Eldridge in the race.
