Dalton Kasel Dominates in Albuquerque PBR Unleash The Beast Bucking Battle

Dalton Kasel was the winner of the PBR’s Unleash The Beast Bucking Battle in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This event brings in a high energy crowd of about six thousand people, creating a great experience for the riders.

Due to the unique shape of the arena, also referred to as “the pit”, Kasel says the athletes are particularly motivated when able to hear the audience as they cheer them on through those eight seconds.

Kasel had two great rides while in Albuquerque, a 91.25-point ride on Hang Em High, and a 91.5-point ride on Nasty Wishes.

“Hang Em High had a little bite more kick and a little bit more timing it felt like and was up underneath himself. Nasty Wishes, he felt like he was trying to move away from the whole time, in my opinion he felt harder to ride than the other one, I guess that’s why they might have scored me a little bit higher”, Dalton says as he contrasts the characteristics of the two rides.

With the Finals coming up, Dalton Kasel says the pressure got to him at the beginning of the year but is now just trying to have fun and react the way his body knows how. Sitting at 7th in the PBR World Standings, Kasel is looking forward to the finals being in his home state of Texas.
