Danielle Lowman Splits North Dakota Roughrider Cup Win After Fierce Roping

Three of the best breakway ropers claim the North Dakota Roughrider Cup.

There was only three tenths of a second between No. 1 and No. 8 in the breakway roping at the North Dakota Roughrider Cup. The magic number to claim the win was 2.1 seconds and the three cowgirls that clocked just that include Danielle Lowman, Josie Conner and Bailey Bates.

“I thought I drew a stronger one and had to pull a little bit and it was right there so I let it go,” Lowman said.

Lowman said she has had a tough year and splitting this win with two of the top dogs is something she is grateful for. She is inside the Top 10 in the World as we go into the final week of the regular season.
