Dawson Hay is heading to his fifth career NFR and his fourth straight. On the season, Hay earned $147,858 and will enter the NFR No. 10 in the PRCA Saddle Bronc World Standings.

Hay gathered wins at the Magic Valley Stampede, Strathmore Stampede, Livermore Rodeo, and the World Famous Miles City Xtreme Broncs throughout the season.

Miles City Xtreme Broncs, $19,336

Hay showed out at the Miles City Bucking Xtreme Broncs where he posted two rides of 90.5 points. The two big rides helped him sweep the May 19 event.

Reno Rodeo, $12,002

In the First Round, Hay scored 87 points, securing the win. He followed up with a 79-point ride in Round 2, which wasn’t enough to earn him a paycheck. In the Finals, he posted an 88.5-point ride on Diamond Fever, the highest of the round. Overall, he was 254.5 points on three for third in the rodeo.

Mandan Rodeo Days, $5,513

Over Cowboy Christmas, Hay had one of his highest marked rides of the season when he went for 88.5 points on Carney Girl. It was one of two Fourth of July triumphs for him as he also won Montana’s Livingston Roundup Rodeo.

Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo, $7,000

Hay’s 87.5-point ride on Gypsy Rose in the First Performance in Salt Lake City netted him $2,000 and a ticket to the Finals. In the Finals, Hay placed third to earn an additional $5,000 after an 88.5-point ride on All Or Nothin.

Magic Valley Stampede, $4,427

Hay ended the month of August on a high note at the Magic Valley Stampede where he was 87.5 points to get the win. It is the second time in the last three seasons he has won a rodeo in Idaho.

North Dakota Roughrider Cup, $13,750

Hay earned over $17,000 on his last two rides of the season. The first of those two rides came at the North Dakota Roughrider Cup after an 87-point ride on Carney Girl, a horse Hay had two of the three highest marked rides on in the 2024 regular season. It was good for second place money behind Statler Wright’s 87.5 in Mandan.

Sheriff’s PRCA Rodeo, $4,259

The last ride of the season for Hay was a good one at the Sheriff’s PRCA Rodeo, where he was 86 points on Scarlet Lady for second.
