Daylon Swearingen Talks Team USA Eagles PBR Global Cup Win

At the PBR Global Cup that took place in Arlington, Texas, it was Team USA Eagles that left the victors. Ross Coleman was their coach and their team captain was the No. 1 bull rider in the PBR, Daylon Swearingen. The USA Eagles were locked and loaded with talent having Stetson Wright, Mason Taylor, Dalton Kasel and Chase Dougherty alongside their team captain.

“It was really fun, you know, we had a great group of young guys and we were all motivated. We just had a ball doing it,” Swearingen said.

Swearingen rode two bulls for 90 plus points. Dalton Kasel made the highest marked ride, not just of the 2022 Global Cup but of any Global Cup ever, when he rode for 92 points.

In the Short Round it came down to Swearingen and Brazil’s Kaique Pacheco. Swearingen went for 91.5 points to secure the title for Team USA Eagles.

“I didn’t know we won it but I knew to seal the deal, I had to ride him,” Swearingen said.

It was a picture perfect moment for Team USA Eagles, winning the PBR Global Cup. It was a great event to have before the new PRB Team Series kicked off in Arizona and will continue on throughout the summer.
