Denell Henderson Secures First San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Finals Qualification

Steer wrestler Denell Henderson advances out of Semifinals 1 in San Antonio

Denell Henderson has locked in his position in the Final Round of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo after advancing out of Bracket 3 and claiming the win in Semifinals 1.

A first-place check in Round 2 of Bracket 3 insured Henderson’s advancement into the Semifinals as he claiming No. 3 on the leader board with $2,500 earned.

Henderson said he took advantage of having a great steer and was able to make all the right moves, stopping the clock in 4.1 seconds and bringing his overall earnings to $7,500.

“This is awesome, I love this place. This is only my second time being here so to make the Finals is awesome,” Henderson said.

Tyler Pearson, Cash Robb, Stephen Culling and Walt Arnold will be advancing alongside Henderson as they round out the Top 5 money earners in Semifinals 1.
