Derrick Begay and Colter Todd Rope Their Way to Victory at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo

Begay and Todd take home a pair of gold buckles in San Antonio with a 3.8-second run in the Short-Go

Derrick Begay and Colter Todd took home the title at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo as the duo secured their victory with consistency and team work.

In the first round of Bracket 4, Begay and Todd tied with Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord, both clocking in at 4.2 seconds, earning $2,250 each. Their consistency continued into the second round, where they claimed the top spot with a time of 4.7 seconds, adding $2,500 to their winnings.

Despite tough competition, Begay and Todd maintained their momentum into the Wildcard Round, finishing strong with a time of 4.3 seconds, securing another $5,000 in prize money and a spot in the Short Go.

In the Finals, Begay and Todd once again showcased their skill and determination, tying with Clint Summers and Jake Long with a time of 3.8 seconds. Their exceptional performance throughout the competition culminated in them being crowned champions of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo as each cowboy took home a check for $22,500.
