Derrick Begay and Colter Todd Win San Angelo with All the Right Horsepower

Derrick Begay and Colter Todd got faster with each run they made at San Angelo Rodeo and they ended Friday night as the 2022 Champions. The team was a 4.6 seconds in Round 1 and 4.3 in Round Two cinching their spot in the Finals where they were a 3.9, their average was 12.8 on three head.

Begay cracked out an old faithful head horse that according to him is 20 plus years old.

“I entered this rodeo and the plans didn’t work out the way we got up so I had to crack him back out. It was good to be on him,” Begay said.

Although they made it back, they didn’t pull checks in Round One or Two and Begay said it was good to finally win some.
