Dustin Boquet Out for Remainder of NFR, Taylor Broussard Out Until Round 9

Two more athletes are being pulled from competition tonight at the 2021 NFR. Bull Rider Dustin Boquet is out for the remainder of the NFR with a broken shoulder in his left arm. Bouquet won Round 4 with an 84.5 point ride and has earned over $40,000 at this year’s NFR.

Bareback Rider Taylor Broussard will be held out of competition for at least two nights after taking a hard hit coming out of the chute last night. Broussard felt a pop in his neck and had some neck pain. He will be held out of competition for the evening and given a CT scan to make sure there wasn’t any significant damage. He Is being held out tonight and by rule tomorrow night before being reevaluated in Round 9. Broussard placed sixth in Round 2.
