Dustin Boquet Talks Upcoming NFR and His Big September on WSR

Boquet finished No. 16, but got the call earlier this month that he would replace the injured Creek Young in Las Vegas

There was big news coming out of the bull riding in the PRCA last week when No. 16 Dustin Boquet moved into the field of bull riders at the National Finals because No. 15 Creek Young will be unable to compete in December due to a broken leg.

Boquet joined Western Sports Round-Up to talk about his opportunity to go back to the NFR for the first time since 2021 and fourth time overall.

“It was pretty exciting (to get the call), but I hate the way it happened, I told Creek ‘let’s just go in first and second next year so we don’t have to do this again,’” he said. “When they gave me the call, I’m not gonna turn it down.”
