Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord Pick Up a Bucket List Win at Rodeo Austin

Team Ropers Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord add to 2024 season success during the Texas Swing

Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord had a lucky number at Rodeo Austin this year. Two runs that stopped the clock at 3.9 seconds to win their respective rounds paired with a 4.7 from Round 2 made Egusquiza and Lord No. 1 in the Average.

“When it gets tougher like that, you just feed off that and everybody is so good here. To come out on top was awesome,” Lord said.

The Final Round of team roping get faster with every team. Egusquiza had some extra momentum swinging his way after a win the night before.

“I know this is a bucket list rodeo for both of us. We talked about it before we got here, neither one of us have won it before and it’s pretty cool to finally get it done,” Egusquiza said.

The duo’s 3.9-second run in the Final Round beat out two 4.3-second runs and a 4.5 to collect a pay day for the Go-Round but it made their time on three head 12.5 seconds and that was half a second faster than any other team.
