Dustin Egusquiza is currently the No. 1 ranked header in the world going into his fourth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. With $147,516 to his name in the PRCA World Standings, Egusquiza won 10 rodeos in 2021.
EGUSQUIZA AND GRAVES AT SANDHILLS STOCK SHOW AND RODEO IN ODESSA, TEXAS
The Florida cowboy started adding to his earnings early with a win coming in at the Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo (Texas) with an 8.8 on two head. Another win came shortly after at the Dixie National Rodeo (Mississippi) where a 4.0 second run was good enough to win it and get Egusquiza a check of $5,554.
At the Ram National Circuit Finals (Florida), Egusquiza took home $16,626 after placing in all four rounds. His fastest run of the rodeo came in Round 2 with a 4.5 and that was good enough for a second-place finish.
EGUSQUIZA AND GRAVES 4.4 RENO RODEO
Over the summer, Egusquiza went on to keep ahold of that No. 1 spot in the World Standings. /between Old Fort Days Rodeo (Arkansas) and Hugo Pro Rodeo (Oklahoma), $3,544 was added to his earnings. He won the Woodward Elks Rodeo (Oklahoma) with a 4.7 second run. At the official kickoff rodeo for the summer, Eqgusquiza would win Round 2 of Reno Rodeo with a 4.4 to take home $6,043.
Egusquiza had a good Fourth of July run in Montana. He won both the Livingston Roundup and the Home of Champions Rodeo. He followed it up with a win at the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo (Utah) where he was a 4.5.
EGUSQUIZA AND GRAVES AT 9.5 AT CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS
At Cheyenne Frontier Days, Egusquiza placed in three of four rounds and went on to be second in Round 1 of the Dodge City Roundup (Kansas). He also won the Canby Rodeo (Oregon) with a 4.7 to add $2,021 to his 2021 earnings. To wrap up his season, Egusquiza won the Othello PRCA Rodeo (Washington) and was second at the Sheriff’s PRCA Rodeo (California) to finish No. 1.
Egusquiza roped with Travis Graves again this year and will be roping with him at the NFR in December. Egusquiza is after his first Gold Buckle and right now the No. 2 man, Erich Rogers ($122,017) is $25,498 behind Egusquiza.
